  • Dedication of a plaque in honor of Violetta (Violet) Hill, Robert Hill Fort, Christian Heritage Academy campus. Date to be announced
  • Saturday, June 3 - 'Veterans Memorial Day' - Franklin County History Museum, 10:30 a.m. Guest speaker Capt. Ray Pickett of the 57th VA Infantry Co. B re-enactment group based in New York. Recognizing local veterans from the Revolutionary War to current times - emphasis on The War Between the States as it touched every household in the county. Franklin County High School Air Force JROTC cadets and others will participate.
  • Saturday & Sunday, June 3 and 4 - 'Confederate Living History Camp' at the History Museum - featuring 57th VA Infantry Co. B (from New York). Free.

  • Saturday, Oct. 28 - 'Murder & Mayhem' - second annual character event playing off our long-time Ghosts &  More productions. Call for tickets beginning in August.
  • Saturday, Dec. 2 -' Holiday Remembrance' in High Street Municipal Cemetery 11 a.m.
  • Sunday, April 22, 2018 'Moonshine Express.' Watch for details
